Fringer EF/FX adapters' new firmware is released.

As we promised earlier, both Gen1 and Gen2 got update.

V2.90 for EF-FX Pro / EF-FX and V1.10 for EF-FX Pro II

  1. Fixed PDAF issues for some of the following lens models: Lens didn’t get recognized by the adapter due to different lens firmware version.
    • SIGMA 30/1.4 Art *
    • SIGMA 24-35/2.0 Art *
    • TAMRON 18-400/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD
    • TAMRON SP 17-50/2.8 XR Di-II VC LD (B005)
  2. AF performance of following lenses have been improved further.
    • SIGMA 135/1.8 Art *
    • EF-S18-135/3.5-5.6 IS USM *
    • EF70-200/4L
  3. Introduced smooth video AF for the following lenses.
    • SIGMA 135/1.8 Art *
    • EF-S18-135/3.5-5.6 IS USM *
    • EF70-200/4L IS II
    • SIGMA 28/1.4 Art
    • SIGMA 40/1.4 Art
  4. Added following lenses to the tested and optimized lens list:
    • EF24-105/3.5-5.6 IS STM
    • EF70-200/4L IS II
    • EF100/2.8 Macro USM
    • TOKINA 14-20/2.0
    • SIGMA 20/1.4 Art
    • SIGMA 28/1.4 Art
    • SIGMA 40/1.4 Art
* Already integrated in V1.0 firmware for EF-FX Pro II.

Be noted, make sure you download the correct file for the correspondent product. For Gen1, i.e. EF-FX Pro and EF-FX, you need firmware file named EFFX****.BIN. For Gen2, i.e. EF-FX Pro II, you need firmware file named EFX2_****.BIN. Using the wrong file will not damage your adapter. But it will not install.
